  Corporate Functional Title: Manager,Trade Partner Support(TPS)
  • TPS's Primary Function is the entire Order Processing / Order Management process, from start to finish;
  • TPS is an integral part of the "Sales Team," working hand-in-hand with the Regional Sales Managers, and proactively supporting the Trade Partners (i.e.: Customers).
  • Change Agent: With the creation of this new position, "Order Processing" is being decoupled from the Logistics function in order to emphasize the Commercial angle (i.e.: the Customer & Sales). The TPS Manager will lead this transformation.
  • Responsible for leading, guiding, motivating, coaching, counseling a team of 4-5 non-exempt Account Representatives (order processors).
  • Set Direction for TPS, leading transformation from a "functional" mindset (Logistics), to that of a Trade Partner Support Team, with the Customer as the primary concern.
  • Resources - Determine resources needed, optimal structure & deployment of those resources, along with allocation of duties & responsibilities.
  • Allocation of work within TPS Team. Also, managing workflow & productivity of Account Representatives.
  • Own & posses thorough understanding of the entire Order Management process, from start to finish
  • Problem Resolution is central to TPS; having a mechanism & mind-set in place to resolve availability, billing, delivery problems is key to TPS's success.
  • Thorough knowledge of all relevant Systems (e.g.: SAP), to include reporting.
  • Drive continuous process improvements within TPS
  • Fully integrate TPS in overall Operation
  • Will retain direct responsibility for some TPS line work.
  • Within 6 months, establish a Telesales capability within Trade Partner Support.
  • Desired Computer Skills: SAP, GQL or other query tools, Word, Excel for spread sheets
  • Fully Bilingual; Fluent in both Spanish & English
  • Experience in the Export business, including the knowledge of entire logistics process, forwarding, working with freight carrier companies, etc.
  • Order processing in some related or similar business
  • Knowledge of Customer Service
  • Knowledge of Sales, Telesales
  • Prior Supervisory Experience and Demonstrated Leadership skills
  • Occasional travel required to visit Customers, Company meetings or Trade Shows. Both domestic & foreign.
