  • Coordinating the review and preparation of annual budgets, long- range strategic business plans.
  • Reviewing monthly corporate subsidiary and consolidated forecasts for reasonableness and continuity with budgets, actual year to date results and prior forecasts.
  • Reviewing and analyzing monthly operating and financial results and providing variance analysis of actuals to budget and recommending actions.
  • Establishing and maintaining liaison with senior management and managers to obtain uniform information for the budgets/plans.
  • Reviewing and analyzing submitted plans/budgets, recommending adjustments/corrections and recommending approval.
  • Recommending changes to the planning process and reporting systems in order to streamline procedures, improve productivity, quality, and reduce costs/summarize information for management review.
  • Providing analysis of profitability variance/cost expense problems/profit improvement opportunities and recommendations for corrective actions/resource allocation.
  • Developing and directing a product costing and pricing function for existing and proposed services/determine product line and/or customer profitability and make recommendations.
  Requirements:
 
  • BA (in Finance preferred); MBA required.
  • 5-8 years experience working in finance and accounting.
