  • Position in charge of the management and maintenance of information technology security policies and processes.
  • Define security policies at the IT level. Provide response guidelines to support forensic actions in case of an internal or external attack.
  • 35% Project Management:
    • Procure, install and set up the Security Infrastructure and Policies of the company.
  • 35% Operating Systems:
    • Active Directory Services configuration and design for Windows 2000. Research and install security patches for Unix and Windows. Define and configure security policies at the OS level. Management of IDS engines and firewalls. Configuration of ACLs in routers.
  • 20% Design Processes:
    • Intrusion Detection processes and testing, Forensic Design and response.
  • 10% Documentation:
    • Able to produce and maintain technical documentation to keep track of changes in Security Policies.
  Requirements:
 
  • Internet protocols, security background.
  • Windows 2000 and Unix security.
  • Project management.
  • Good interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a must, Portuguese a plus.
  • Security certifications a must.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Security certifications.
  • 3-4 years in a similar position.
