  • THE POSITION: The Vice President of Human Resources will be responsible for defining, articulating, and driving the HR vision and strategy for the company in support of overall business plans. This key position requires active involvement in day-to-day operations, defining, refining and integrating HR into the mainstream of the company. A critical role of this executive will be to successfully manage the transition of the company to self-directed workgroup structure. Specifically, build inherent organizational infrastructure and support for this working environment and positively managing the hurdles that arise through such an organizational transformation. Proactively lead and have full responsibility for benefits, compensation, staffing, payroll, job evaluation methodology, training and development, employee relations, and employee services
  Requirements:
 
  • Minimum 10 yrs. experience.
  • Experience working w/ 'self-directed' work groups.
  • Experience working in a .com / start-up environment.
  • Multiple experiences of organizational change management such as found in a fast-growth environment, organizational restructuring, spin-off, etc.
  • Strong depth and breadth of experience in a HR management role. Well versed in all aspects of HR functions.
  • Has a 'roll up the sleeves' and get it done management style.
  • Experience taking a small number of employees & widely expanding.
  • Strong mentoring and coaching skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • An energetic, dynamic personal style.
