    Tax planning and implementation related to:
  • Internal restructurings including planning for the expansion of foreign operations to new locations, outbound transactions, planning with check-the-box entities, acquisition of joint venture partners' interests in foreign operations and subsequent integration of the acquired ventures
  • Subpart F planning and cash repatriation techniques, including restructuring of intercompany financings
  • Cross-border transactions among members of the group, including transfer pricing issues, intercompany costs allocations, e-commerce and commissionaire structures
  • Coordination with Human Resources regarding expatriate tax issues and employee benefits plan for foreign operations
  • International Tax Compliance and Accounting for Income Taxes
  • Responsible for all international tax compliance including: Preparation of US reporting for foreign corporations, foreign partnerships and joint ventures
  • Implementation of Software tax preparation system for international tax compliance, including the development of processes for data collection for tax reporting and related coordination with the Accounting Department
  • Responsible for coordinating foreign jurisdictions' tax matters such as planning for the reduction of taxes in the various jurisdictions and examinations by foreign tax authorities
  • Responsible for US GAAP reporting for foreign operations and implementation of systems to support required calculations
  • Minimum of 10 years Corporate/Professional International tax experience.
  • CPA/MBA Preferred
  • Structuring operations and joint ventures and cross-border transactions planning for US multinationals.
  • Foreign Tax Credit utilization - planning and compliance.
  • Development and implementation of planning strategies and managing compliance, including tax return preparation, accounting for income taxes and response to Internal Revenue Service Examination.
  • Federal, state and foreign tax compliance for US and foreign multinational entities, including consolidated groups, foreign corporations, partnerships and joint ventures,
  • US and Foreign expatriate executive tax planning and compliance
