  • Position will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of the company's compensation, stock, and benefit programs throughout Latin America and its US-based headquarters. This position ensures the effectiveness of the company's base pay programs, variable pay programs, equity incentive plans, deferred compensation, executive compensation and health and welfare programs.
  • Activities include the coordination of market analysis (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Peru and the US), establishment of salary structures and variable pay targets, development and execution of stock option and restricted stock agreements, design of executive incentive and benefit plans and reward programs linking pay to performance. Position will also monitor, evaluate and administer benefit plans and international benefit pooling strategy.
  • Position will require approximately 40% of international travel.
  • Compensation professional with focus on equity incentive plans. Merger and acquisition experience a plus.
  • Telecommunications or high tech company stock option/equity plan and compensation plan design and implementation experience.
  • Ability to communicate with and give presentations to senior management and the Board of Directors.
  • International (Latin America) compensation and benefits experience desired.
  • Candidate must have at least seven years experience in the compensation field, excellent communications skills in English and Spanish, a clear understanding of the Latin American environment, the ability to multitask complex projects.
  • A B.S. degree and ACA's (WorldatWork's) CCP and CBP certification a plus
