    We are seeking an experienced digital marketing leader to join their team. This position will serve as the online marketing leader for their global business. The ideal candidate will primarily be responsible for new customer acquisition via online and direct sales channels, and will also oversee online marketing communications to current customers, and will be responsible for new customer activation, engagement and retention. The position requires working closely with a range of internal and external partners. External partners include advertising agencies, media properties, technology vendors, press contacts, and industry analysts. Internal partners include Sales & Marketing, Web & IT, Product Development, and Customer Service among others. Successful candidates will have had extensive experience developing marketing plans and managing budgets to target and acquire new customers through online channels.
  • Develop strategies and plans to reach new customer acquisition targets and increase activation.
  • Develop outbound digital media campaigns to drive and convert qualified new leads to the website via display advertising, paid search, affiliate, retargeting, contextual, and other advertising programs.
  • Analyze lead pipeline and develop plans to optimize new account conversions. Work with internal and external partners to define and implement test plans and analyze results.
  • Create and manage ongoing consumer promotions to drive activation, cross-sell and upsell.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors for the effective execution of online marketing initiatives.
  • Manage a significant online marketing budget, allocating resources efficiently across business initiatives, programs and channels to maximize ROI.
  • Monitor and report progress against goals, and make adjustments to plans in response to market changes.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, or related fields. Finance experience is a plus. Must be analytically-oriented and metrics-focused.
  • Must have at least 5 years of product marketing experience in a web- based business including online demand generation, campaign planning and driving the entire online lead-nurturing-through-acquisition lifecycle process.
  • Experience managing multi-million dollar online advertising budgets and plans, and managing media agencies/vendors is required. Experience developing marketing KPI reports and measuring marketing ROI is also required.
  • Practical knowledge of CRM systems, marketing automation tools, web analytics, content management systems, etc. is important.
  • Must have strong influencing skills, and be able to able to work as part of a globally-dispersed, cross-functional team.
  • Financial Services experience is helpful.
  • A working knowledge of social media and/or social trading is also a plus.
