    The VP-Treasury will report to the Chief Financial Officer and will have responsibility for global treasury functions; including cash management, transfer pricing, planning, foreign exchange exposure management, and forecasting. The VP-Treasury will be responsible for maintaining strong banking relationships, timely and accurate compliance reporting, adherence to loan covenant restrictions, and liquidity management. He/she will also assure compliance with Company investment policies. This international company has operations throughout Latin America and numerous subsidiaries and accounts in Latin America and other foreign countries. He/she will also be responsible for cash forecasting and planning.
  • Overall Treasury oversight for the Company and all its affiliates
  • Cash management and forecasting
  • Investment strategies, reporting and compliance
  • Managing bank relationships and reporting
  • Transfer pricing strategies and implementation
  • Coordination of cross-border transactions throughout the Company system
  • FX risk management strategies
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws and requirements throughout Latin America
  • Travel
  • Broad global treasury operations experience
  • Strong understanding of transfer pricing strategies and compliance requirements
  • Experience trading and managing foreign currencies and cross border transactions
  • Latin America business experience
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Language: Fluent in English and Spanish (Portuguese also a plus)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills to foster a good team environment to accomplish the responsibilities. Energetic/change agent and results oriented.
    Personal Characteristics
    The ideal candidate will be a US or Latin American national or someone with extensive experience in the region. He/She, will have a solid academic and professional background, and must be fluent in Spanish and English. Portuguese language skills would be highly desirable. The candidate will be seasoned and adaptable, with proven and highly proactive drive, involved in growing businesses and building processes from scratch. He or she will be emotionally intelligent, have superior inter-personal skills and ability to influence his colleagues within the Company. The ideal candidate is high energy and will understand and be aligned with the company's mission of improving the lives of others through education and positively impacting the education industry in Latin America.
