    Reports to: CEO
    The Chief Information Officer (CIO) provides IT organizational leadership and services. The responsibilities includes strategic planning, IT consultation, implementation and support services, evaluating compliance, policies, guidelines, security, processes and procedures for partners across Latin America. The CIO roles also includes new partner acquisition assessment and integration, acquiring and retaining talent, as well as assessing infrastructure, applications and outsourced services. This position will be based in Bogota, Colombia or Miami, Florida.
  • Develop, organize, direct and evaluate the Company IT organization.
  • Establish priorities in collaboration with the senior leadership team.
  • Provide exceptional, timely, and valuable technology training and support to the Company partners.
  • Integrate and automate partner call center operations and enrollment processes for student growth and retention by providing technology solutions, ongoing training and support.
  • Develop and implement a common Business Intelligence system and data warehouse for a fully integrated and automated tracking system for monitoring KPIs.
  • Develop a new partner assessment and integration strategies.
  • Collaborate and communicate regularly with the IT and senior leadership teams.
  • Conduct monthly IT team assessments and monitor progress on goals established by partners on strategic IT key performance indicators requiring improvement.
  • Evaluate and update IT operating policies and guidelines as needed.
  • Leverage the IT organizational strengths and resources of the Company network.
  • Provide cost-effective, integrated, and scalable IT services and solutions.

  •   Requirements:
     
    • 5+ years of progressive IT leadership experience in a senior- level role.
    • Experienced with current IT technology business and academic systems and applications including CRM, ERP, BI, LMS, data warehousing, telecom, call center, etc.
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Business Administration from an accredited university or institution required or Master's degree preferred.
    • Fluent in English and Spanish, Portuguese is highly desired.
    • Strong leadership, project management and time management skills.
    • Solid problem solving and business acumen.
    • Ability to work alone on a variety of projects.
    • Ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with all levels of an organization.
    • Extensive travel is required, up to 80%.
    • Ability to work across multiple Latin American countries and cultures, showing sensitivity and savvy in dealing with cultural, economic, and political differences.
