    Reports to: Sr. Vice President-Americas
    This position will be primarily responsible for planning, coordinating and executing the following channel sales plans:
    1. Commercial - airlines, service providers such as ground handlers, and airports.
    2. Rail - rail of electric commuter trains.
    3. General Aviation OEM and aftermarket serving general aviation aircraft.
    In addition, this individual will assist with the development of budgets, lead generation, sales and marketing campaigns, brand stewardship, competitive analysis, pricing strategies, identifying growth opportunities, attend trade shows and industry events, participate in appropriate sales related activities, special projects and other analysis as requested.
    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Focus on growing the Commercial, Rail, and General Aviation market opportunities consistent with the business plan.
  • Research, identify, prospect, and develop target accounts consistent with the Commercial, Rail and General Aviation business plan.
  • Incorporate new product lines and services into sales portfolio as appropriate.
  • Detail and monitor all competition ongoing as it relates to markets, sales, pricing, and customer service strategies and provide market intelligence to incorporate into strategic planning activities.
  • Develop, adjust, and maintain pricing strategies using market segmentation, competitive analysis, manufacturing costs, and value-added service opportunities to maximize competitive differentiation.
  • Establish, maintain, and manage SAP customer relationship management database (CRM).
  • Coordinate on-going communication to other appropriate internal departments.
  • Support special individual and team projects that may be required by the company.
  • Travel required for customer meetings, attending trade shows, and participating in company and/or industry related events in order to meet strategic growth targets.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the business, its processes and functions, and integrate smoothly into the culture.
  Requirements:
 
  • Bachelor's Degree in business or related field required (Master's Degree a plus).
  • Demonstrated strong sales and leadership skills to generate results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact and present at all customer levels and within the company as well.
  • 5-8 years experience in sales function with a demonstrated progression of increased responsibility. Previous aviation or chemical related sales experience a plus.
  • Excellent software skills to include Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required. Previous CRM experience also a plus.
  • Highly organized individual with emphasis on accuracy, timeliness, and thorough follow through.
  • Flexibility to work additional hours and travel as necessary to support company and customer programs and initiatives.
  • Bi-lingual ability a plus (English & Spanish).
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or provide proof of legal work status and have the ability to obtain a passport and visas if required.
