    REPORTS TO: Operations Finance Director
    Division Office Accounting
  • Responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of month-end close and reports for the Division Office.
  • Post all necessary journal entries for the Division Office.
  • Analyze monthly variances actual to budget for Division office P&L, Balance Sheet, and 5 cost centers.
  • Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations.
  • Reconcile Intercompany Accounts balances with Business Units.
  • Facilitate Internal and External Audit requirements.
  • Prepare the SRP specific pages every six months (Dec. Hard Close and June Year End).
  • Revise the current cash flow; prepare the cash flow forecast.
    Resin Accounting
  • Responsible for providing shipping company/Business unit/Customs with Pre and Final. Documentation for Resin shipments. (Proforma/Commercial Invoices, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, Packing List, Certificate of Analysis, Certificate of Quality, Insurance).
  • Responsible for invoicing BU correctly and making sure payment is received.
  • Maintain all Resin files (Supplier/Business Units) up to date.
  • Respond Balance confirmation to resin suppliers.
  • Synchronize with Resin Management team to make sure all resin issues are resolved.
  • Prepare Resin AR Aging for each BU.
  • Provide detail movement report of MPV in a monthly basis.
    Division Operations Accounting
  • Regional "super-user" for SAP to enable training of employees and to provide BU month end closing support.
  • Rigid Plastics BPC application owner / administrator (virtual organization within overall Rigid Plastics finance organization).
  • Collect / maintain BU reporting submissions at month end.
  • Maintain ARPSA Regional Management "month end book".
    Venezuela Purchases and Other Regional Purchases
  • Review and maintain a control for regional capital projects handled through the Division Office.
  • Coordinate with the BU teams to ensure all necessary documentation is submitted.
  • Invoice Fixed Asset/Spare Parts purchased through Division Office.
    General Business Support:
  • Prepare presentation materials for various management meetings including monthly internal business reviews, Quarterly business reviews with BG management and other meetings as required.
  • Manage / lead special projects as requested (i.e. Product/Segment profitability tracking within SAP, etc.)
  • Be able to travel to South and Central America locations as required.
  Requirements:
 
    Education and Experience:
  • Minimum BS degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum five years experience in increasingly responsible finance positions. Manufacturing experience is a plus.
  • Language: English and Spanish required. Portuguese a plus
  • Demonstrated experience with accounting systems.
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to establish priorities
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem solving capabilities.
  • Strong communications skills: interpersonal, presentation, written, spoken Systems requirements:
  • SAP strongly required
  • Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC), Hyperion or similar is a plus
  • Microsoft Office
