    The President/CEO will increase revenues for this Telecom Company through domestic and international sales/support efforts and to identify and develop new growth opportunities through product or service offerings that compliment existing areas of focus. This position will have overall accountability for the entire organization.
    Will include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Develop and direct the implementation of organizational, financial and operational goals, objectives, policies, procedures and work standards for the company.
  • Review activity reports and financial statements to determine progress and status in attaining objectives and revise objectives and plans accordingly.
  • Direct and oversee all business functions including sales, marketing, finance, accounting, human resources, etc.
  • Create, execute and lead a predictable, sustainable business development plan that drives domestic and international sales, with an emphasis on Central America and the Caribbean.
  • Provide visible leadership and direction to all staff members within the facility to create and support a rewarding organizational culture and an environment of accountability in order for the team to perform according to goals/plan/budget.
  • Ensure that responsibilities, authorities and accountability of all employees are defined, understood and executed, developing, coaching and mentoring team to full potential.
  • Ensure that all functional areas of the organization are performed at the highest level of proficiency, efficiency and profitability; make appropriate fiscal and operational day-to-day decisions for the successful overall management of the Division/ Company.
  • Monitor and evaluate the results of the overall operations regularly and report these results to respective Board of Directors.
  • Recommend long-term changes; prepare necessary reports and develop business case rationale, new account targets, major capital expenses, etc.
  • Combination of Electronics/Engineering/ Engineering Technology & Business Administration degrees. MBA highly desirable.
  • Experience in the telecommunications, telephony or information technology industries.
  • Board level presentation and reporting experience.
  • Proven business development, negotiating and closing skills with demonstrated experience driving revenues for the company; international management/ marketing/sales experience preferred.
  • 8-12 years ├»senior├» (VP, GM, Executive Mgr.) level (operations management/leadership/turn-around experience, including experience in strategic planning and execution, financial planning and analysis , budgeting and P&L.
  • Ability to lead, coach and motivate team members and oversee company operations to ensure efficiency, quality, service, and cost- effective management of resources.
  • Outstanding energy level, communication and interaction at all levels of an organization and the ability to work effectively with diverse audiences and cultures.
  • Spanish language skills are a major asset.
  • Ability to travel extensively.
