    The holder of this position will fully understand the critical role of effective and effective distribution systems in the food and pharmaceutical industries and develop and deliver strong actionable growth plans, which will maximize the potential of Company's regional platform for distribution and make a significant difference in corporate profits and customer service.
  • Develop the Company's Distribution platform into a saleable product.
  • Sell the product to key Multinationals, making contact to gain at least one aspect of each or their distribution system.
  • Utilizing existing "footprint" (Telecoms & Xerox) in the region, identify opportunities to expand the distribution of food and pharmaceuticals into new territories.
  • Work to integrate the existing IT platform into multinational companies as well as develop this platform as a product in itself in order to gain a competitive advantage over other distributors.
  • Develop the existing national network of local sales, service and distribution facilities in the three major markets - Jamaica, Trinidad and Barbados, optimizing resources across the region.
  • Develop the existing distribution of existing brands and oversee the development of new brands across the region.
  • Introduce select brands into certain markets e.g. Kraft into Barbados
  • Analyse the Cold Storage strategy with new principals and execute as appropriate.
  • Liaise within the Group to promote the development of the pharmacy business in the region.
  • Prepare business plan for regional institutional businesses.
  • Oversee budget for each product lines in each country using a consistent format.
  • Ensure that each brand has strong local plans.
  • Develop and enhance relationships with brand owners.
  • Leverage existing relationships across platforms.
  • Develop regional reporting KPI's.
