    Accountable for the results of the Regional Planning and Inbound & Tracking operations. This can include importation, customs management, demand planning, supply planning, purchasing, freight management, and suppliers management among other activities. Responsible in overseeing that the operation is providing quality and cost effective planning services within Latin America. Key responsibilities include project management; lead local Sourcing and Planning Managers for the achievement of local and regional goals.
    Drive continuous process improvements through management and implementation of projects in support of overarching supply chain strategies. Projects are complex, cutting across organizational boundaries at corporate level, business units, and across value chain. Identify resources needed and develop project plan, influence stakeholders to gain project support, and lead project team.
  • Leadership role whereby lead cross-divisional or cross- functional initiatives & teams with a broad scope:
    • Identify and engage necessary resources / stakeholders - gain commitment.
    • Identify barriers, recommend and implement solutions - drive change.
    • Lead project team, develop project plan and execute to established timeline - drive results.
    • Communicate / present project status to senior management & stakeholders - recognize contributors.
  • May partner with marketing to develop strong processes around demand planning.
  • May partner with IT to identify, develop and implement new tools to improve the Planning and Sourcing operations.
  • Plans overall supply and demand planning, purchasing, inbound & tracking and customs clearance to ensure customer requirements are met in an efficient and cost effective manner. Develop and lead programs to improve operations; including Sales and Operations Planning, customs brokers and freight management.
  • Liaise and interact with customer logistics, customers, marketing, sales, and finance at Regional level as well as programs designed to meet customer's strategic needs.
  • Liaison between Latin America and Corporate office to ensure appropriate level of standardization and response.
  • Participate in the development of long-term strategy and vision planning for the entire distribution and supply chain organization.
  • Develops key performance indicators and performance objectives and ensures that all metrics and performance objectives are met.
  Requirements:
 
  • BS in Operations/Logistics or similar degree.
  • minimum 7 -10 years related experience.
  • MBA/APICS certification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Planning activities, demonstrated success in managing supply and demand planning, freight, international commerce and customs management.
  • Preferred good knowledge in Supply Chain operations, managing warehousing, distribution and customer service.
