    This position is responsible for managing all Direct Marketing at the company. The person in this position will lead the process of defining target customer segments, identifying the Company value proposition for those segments and creating motivating direct marketing programs to reach those segments with the objective of opening new Company accounts. New account growth is one of the key drivers of the company's successful business model and this position will play a critical role in continuing that success. Direct Marketing includes both traditional and electronic media and extends from program creation to fulfillment, response analysis and program refinement based on that analysis. This position manages all Direct Marketing vendor relationships.
    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and implement Direct Marketing programs to achieve strategic business goals.
    • Define target market segments and Company value propositions for those segments.
    • Develop programs to effectively reach those segments and deliver the value propositions.
    • Manage response capture and fulfillment.
    • Evaluate effectiveness and efficiency of programs and modify programs based on in-market experience.
  • Create and manage customer and prospect databases to support direct marketing initiatives.
  • Create and manage fulfillment processes including electronic account opening.
  • Manage Direct Marketing vendor relationships.
  • Manage Direct Marketing creative development within the company corporate brand identity and graphics standards.
  • Demonstrate leadership as a senior leader of the Company Marketing team, maintaining the highest levels of professionalism, collaboration, mutual support and cooperation within the team and with the Sales, Service and Product Management functions.
  Requirements:
 
  • College degree and 10+ years experience in direct marketing, and a track record of accomplishment in the areas of direct marketing management described in Job Responsibilities above.
  • Experience in transactional financial services is desirable but not required.
  • Highly desirable if the candidate has experience attracting customers to an automated transaction or account opening process. Excellent organizational skills, problem-solving and interpersonal skills; proficiency at multi-tasking and prioritizing.
