  • Manager is responsible for business and market development for Company products across all brands and categories in the following territories: Western Europe, Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Africa.
  • The current distribution base includes customers and markets in varying stages of development. Consequently, the Manager's responsibilities include both (1) focus on prospecting and development of new distributors as well as (2) further development of existing accounts and channels.
  • Manager will report to International Director of Sales and required to work remotely with both Director of Sales and the International Division at the corporate headquarters.
  • Position will entail regular, substantial travel to assigned territories and company offices.
  • Position will require an office in Manager's residence (USA), with relevant office supplies and equipment provided by the Client Company.
  Requirements:
 
  • Minimum of 5 years experience working with and developing European distribution/accounts (branded products).
  • Experience managing customers and sales representatives, with preference in targeted sales channels: lighting, furniture/d├ęcor, architectural, hotels/resorts, commercial building.
  • 4-Year degree with preference for business administration and/or international focus.
  • Minimum bilingual with fluent English, with relevant language skills preferred for European markets (Spanish, Italian, German, French).
  • Willingness and capacity to travel for extended periods.
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability with Microsoft Office products.
