    DESCRIPTION: To establish and execute business strategies and tactical plans that builds profitability and achieves Client Company's growth targets of Health Care products in Latin America.
    REPORTS TO: Regional Director, Latin America
  • Fully manage P&L.
  • Develops annual business plans according to business objectives
  • Develops business and marketing strategies to grow the Health Care product business across Latin America and achieve AOP objectives.
  • Establishes and leads the Health Care Product team in Latin America to develop marketing materials/tools and customer education programs to implement key strategies across the region and within local markets.
  • Facilitates the implementation and adaptation of business, marketing strategies and tactics at country level.
  • Implements product launches to reflect marketing plan, strategies and tactics (price, positioning, promotion, education etc.)
  • Facilitates country and regional specific adaptation and implementation of key marketing strategies/tactics. Builds and maintains relationship to local teams.
  • Contributes to the establishment of the vision, strategy and annual goals and objectives of the business.
  • Provides leadership and directs regional marketing plans and market research activities.
  • Identifies business growth opportunities and customer requirements and provides focus to move ideas to marketplace.
  • Works with Health Care Product business unit to provide input on forecast, inventory control, phase in/out plans, clinical evaluations etc.
  • Supports regional activities for promotion and public relations, including support for medical meetings.
  • Interfaces with Health Care Product business unit to provide input on business, product plan and marketing strategies.
  • Provides input to business unit staff to develop core-marketing strategies, tactics and specific materials to support local markets.
  • Assures alignment in other functional areas such as research, clinical, development, education, reimbursement and sales.
  • Meet with clients on a regular basis to better understand the needs of the patients.
  Requirements:
 
  • Bachelor in Business, Health or Engineering Science
  • Five (5) plus years in sales/marketing, including three (3) plus years in product marketing ideally in a Latin America health industry environment
  • MBA. Highly qualified in business development tools and methods.
  • Language skills Spanish & English
  • Eight years or more of successful experience in medical sales and marketing
  • Previous medical device company or medical related company
    PREFERENCES
  • Masters in Health or Engineering Science
  • Sales/Marketing experience in Latin American
  • Knowledge of Health Care products
  • Portuguese
