Latin American Brand Manager-
Responsible for leading and managing the Brand Marketing Strategic Agenda throughout Latin America.


Primary Tasks:

  • Lead the development of annual strategic product plans.
  • Execute Marketing Plans through the extended regional brand teams.
  • Aid in preparation of country specific Marketing plans, consolidating a Regional Marketing Plan for LA.
  • Create and establish clear marketing guidelines for the LA business units.
  • Execute an effective integration of the entire product related marketing mix.
  • Responsible for overlooking and agreeing on local Marketing Budgets, as well as for Division held funds related to brand.
  • Spend effective time in-market, assuring brand satisfies consumer/customer demanded needs.
  • Implement smooth Forecasting, Supply Chain and other related logistical and commercial tasks to assure product found in right place at right time.

Organization:

  • This is a new position reporting to the VP Sales & Marketing LA.
  • Position has no direct reports.
  • Primary interaction is with local Marketing Managers.
  • Regular interaction with product sources, and all stakeholders in value chain.
  • Position requires working closely with US & Europe Brand/Category Managers to maximize product resources.
  Requirements:
 
  • 7 + years sales and product management/marketing experience in multinational mass-market companies (required).
  • Hands-on marketing experience in at least three Latin American countries (required).
  • Demonstrated familiarity with the Latin America region as a whole.
  • Knowledge of marketing data resources available in territory.
  • Experience with planning and implementing marketing strategies.
  • Preferably with experience in Personal Care, or Consumer related products.
  • Portuguese/Spanish language fluency.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing required. Masters degree/MBA preferred.
