  The Latin America and Caribbean region of our client company, headquartered in Miami, Florida is seeking a people-oriented, self- motivated, highly skilled manager for Brand Development in the Brand Marketing Department.
    Responsibilities, Skills and Requirements:
    Strategic Brand Management
  • Review and analyze quarterly brand health and advertising research with the Market Research department.
  • Analyze programs implemented in markets along with available investment information and competitive actions.
  • Indicate key findings--areas of strength and opportunity.
  • Provide analysis and insights to Advertising and Marketing Services regarding marketing communications performance in-market in order to optimize efforts to build brand within the markets.
  • Provide guidance in the development of annual marketing plans. Product development, naming and trademarks
  • Provide guidance and direction for all naming development for products and services within LAC.
  • Recommend and coordinate design of any necessary research or cultural linguistic checks for all proposed names.
  • Manage the legal process for searching and registering all names and slogans to be trademarked or used within region.
  • Ensure compliance with trademark and brand uses by approving absolutely all consumers facing uses of the brand--this must be closely coordinated with Advertising to answer any questions or to provide the final brand approval.
  • Participate in and provide guidance for global brand architecture strategic issues.
  • Manage all branding and product pilot or tests including regional management approval, submission to appropriate authority level approval.
  • Coordinate specific product and merchant communications efforts with Advertising.
  • Consumer marketing or similar.
  • Banking industry or financial services experience desirable.
  • Marketing communications and promotional processes.
  • 4-6 years Latin American product marketing experience.
  • Business Administration/Marketing - MBA preferred.
  • Travel or expatriate experience preferred.
  • Fully Bilingual (English and Spanish. Portuguese a plus).
