  LAD Product Supply F&A Manager  Major Responsibilities (MRs)

  • Targets
  • Deliver Base Business
    • Monthly Plant financial information timely and accurate
    • Scorecard published monthly
    • Budget forecasts delivered on time
    • Monthly PS KPIs, both non-financial and financial KPIs accurate and timely
  • Internal Audit Compliance
  • Utilize PS Variance reports to forecast quarterly Division PS impact
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP & Corp Accounting Policies

 

  • People
  • Develop and lead through indirect influence of the function across all countries
    • Develop Manufacturing F&A group into a cohesive, service oriented group that works to drive cost out
  •  Build organizational capabilities, assessing each country, identifying and recommending changes or training needs when necessary
    • Drive for standardization across Countries
    • Lead through actions - display the highest personal standards and integrity in daily actions
    • Ensure alignment and conformance with CAPEX Policies
  • Serve as the bridge between PS and F&A at all levels to balance priorities and deliver the best value to LAD. As a member of the F&A functional team, help shape F&A strategy
  • Provide performance/PMP feedback to PS Mgrs on Country F&A PS Mgrs

·        Business Support through Functional Expertise

  • Lead the PSF&A function for LAD, set strategy and processes/systems to insure a standardized PS cost structure, budgeting process and monthly report-out process
  • Provide strategic input to PS decisions to ensure current and future plans are in line with the financial targets of the organization
    • Review capital projects per approval matrix
    • Ensure full alignment among LAD countries and the US, develop strong functional relationships with US counterparts to maximize sharing, development and standardization
    • Field requests as needed
  • Standardize PSF&A processes and controls to ensure accuracy in PSF&A information across LAD.
  • Identify best practices opportunities to be implemented in all LAD countries
    • Analyze cost structure by country to identify best practices opportunities that generate future cost savings initiatives.
    • Tools: KPIs, Budgets, Working Capital, Monthly Variances
  • Ensure alignment between forecast and actual PSF&A results reported
  • Analyze and fully understand PS forecasts (annual & mid-year) and final Reconciliation submitted
  • Provide direct support to the LAD Manufacturing Strategy
  • Own Cost Savings tracking and reporting accuracy

·        Connectivity

  • Build tight integration within the Country F&A organization and PS Mgrs, for information sharing to increase mutual understanding, to open doors for best practice opportunities in F&A & insure alignment
  • Ensure strong cross functional bridging with Sales, Marketing and F&A functions (lead by example)
  • Build bridges of connectivity across the US F&A organization to
    • Maintain knowledge of best practices to leverage to LAD where appropriate or bring US initiatives to LAD where it makes sense
    • Be the point of contact with Corporate PSF&A o:p>
  • Own conformance of PS Financial controls to insure compliance to standards (Use Internal Audits as indicator)
  • Maintain tight alignment with LAD PS Director for priority setting and alignment with LAD F&A Director for functional direction
  • Communicate clearly & timely, give clear direction and priorities  no surprises
  Requirements:
 
  • Fluency in Spanish and English
  • 10 years Financial Management Experience with demonstrated financial leadership on significant projects in a manufacturing and distribution environment.
  • Experience in a financial management position in Latin America
  • Excellent Analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • A thorough understanding of a consumer products business with sales, marketing and manufacturing functions.
  • A Masters in Business Degree with a CMA or CPA designation.
