  • This is a new position reporting to the Division Vice President Sales & Marketing
  • Position has no direct reports.
  • Primary interaction is with local in- Country marketing managers

Position Objective:

  • Provide marketing support to local marketing staff throughout Latin America, particularly Brazil, to increase product /brands presence and contribute to sales growth

Primary Tasks:

  • Plan and support the execution of territory-wide strategies and actions for each product line:
  • Developing appropriate presentation tools and techniques
  • Utilizing and integrating market research and data analysis techniques to identify high potential opportunities.
  • Evaluate and distribute marketing data received from external sources and prepare regional guidelines for local marketing staff.
  • Supervise and ensure the consistency of brand and product positioning across the region.
  • Monitor the efficiency of advertising and promotional campaigns in the region.
  • Coordinate sourcing of POP and displays to ensure consistent quality and reduced cost.
  • Transfer valid initiatives and practices between countries.
  • Monitor closely the inventory levels for all SKU's to assist in decision-making regarding asset reduction initiatives
  • Monitor regional and country spending and budget compliance.
  • Comply with appropriate Corporate policies and procedures
  • Price Analysis and Positioning suggestions
  Requirements:
 
  • 5 + years marketing experience in multinational mass-market companies (required).
  • Hands-on marketing experience in at least three Latin American countries (required).
  • Demonstrated familiarity with the Latin America region as a whole and specifically Brazil.
  • Knowledge of marketing data resources available in territory.
  • Experience with planning and implementing marketing strategies.
  • Portuguese language fluency
