  • Administer the operational, financial logistic and control processes for the money transfer business, through the design and application of procedures that comply with local, institutional, and international regulations.
  • Establish and apply the processes that permit the normal functioning of the business within the approved standards of service and risk.
  • Establish the procedures and controls for the initiation of client relationships, physical distribution, and verification and safeguard controls.
  • Manage the financial processes that allow the quick and secure collection and availability of funds provided by the clients through different payment mechanisms.
  • Plan and manage the relationships with vendors such that they comply with costs, service standards, and information quality.
  • Manage and comply with accounting, financial, and regulatory norms.
  • Coordinate the relationship between information technology areas and the vendors to ensure a proper integration.
  • Control processing costs, maintain up-to-date knowledge on new technological and cost solutions for the processes that are administered.
  • Administer and plan the job functions in accordance with the cycles, in order to anticipate client needs and obtain a competitive advantage.
  • Create and administer contingency plans in such a manner that services are maintained for the clients.
  • Coordinate the relationship with vendors for the money transfer business. Must detect risks and opportunities in advance in order to plan for necessary changes.
  • Control and propose improvements in service quality with the objective of delivering dynamic products that differentiate us from the competition and allow us to satisfy our clientsÂ’ needs.
  Requirements:
 
  • Bilingual English/Spanish.
  • 4 or more years of university education with knowledge of finance, accounting, auditing, and technology.
  • Minimum of 6 years experience in financial institutions with management responsibilities in the areas of international operations, payment products, compliance, regulations, and operational development.
