  • Manage the cooler operation with responsibility to determine methods, staffing, manage costs and control quality of work. Operations include material receiving, storage, picking and loading.
  • Schedule, plan, assign and check work subordinate employees, including supervisors, and assist in resolving operation problems.
  • Provide training, maintain cooler cleanliness, and eliminate safety hazards.
  • Ensure the effectiveness of all-transactional reporting, space allocation, material movement and storage operations.
  • Responsible for the storage and/or disposal of waste material.
  • Recommend enhancements and the replacement of cooler equipment and facilities.
  • Perform all supervisory functions.
  • Responsible for inventory accuracy.
  • Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment and establishing and monitoring safe work practices.
  Requirements:
 
  • Computer proficiency desired.
  • Minimum 5+ year’s experience of warehousing/distribution required.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree—Business Management or equivalent preferred.
  • Food industry warehousing experience preferred.
